Welcome to Blue Ridge Lactation! My name is Jessica Smith. I love Jesus, my family, babies, and baseball. I am a homeschool mama to a teenage son, a dog mama, and one of your biggest cheerleaders!
As a Mother-Baby nurse, I thought I was fully prepared to breastfeed my son, but he didn't read the manual and we struggled. Our struggles, fueled my passion to leave bedside nursing to help other mamas.
With over 24 years of experience as a nurse and 10 years as a dedicated lactation consultant - I am here to support you on your breastfeeding journey. Whether you are just starting out, facing challenges with breastfeeding, or need assistance with weaning or introducing solids, I am here to help.
